Q. Can you supply information on individuals?

A.

As long as they are a Company Director our Director Report will tell you how many directorships they have and for which companies.

 
Q. What are document images?

A.

These are the actual documents, annual accounts, change of directors etc, that the company files with Companies House.

 
Q. Where do the document images come from?

A.

Our reports are from Companies House and are genuine documents filed by the companies and then converted to PDF for you to download.

 
Q. What documents images can I have access to on a company?

A.

Q. How do you calculate the credit score?

A.

A unique predictive scoring model has been developed aimed at enabling you to detect those companies at risk of corporate failure within the next 12 months. Please click here for a detailed explanation.

How do I change my registered user details?

A.

Login as normal using your email address and password and the click on 'My Profile'. You can then change any of your details.

Can I change my password?

A.

Yes, this can be done on the 'My Profile' page.

 
Q.

Why do your system require a complex password?

A.

To prevent fraud or misuse of your account we require you to choose a suitable password that reduces the risk of someone defrauding you by guessing your password. Please choose a secure password of at least 6 digits and a mixture of letters and numbers.

Random3107 would be a good example of a secure password.

Can I change my email address?

A.

Yes, this can be done by calling us on 01372 750800.

 
Q.

What is 'My Reports'?

A.

The 'My Reports' area is a store for all your ordered reports. This means you can come back at any time to view a report you have ordered.

 
Q.

How long are my ordered reports available?

A.

We keep the reports for 18 months currently. This is subject to review and if the timescale changes we will inform you before removing any reports.

What does the flashing icon next to a report mean?

A.

This means the company in question has filed new documents or have had a change in credit score and a new report is available.

Can I download or print the reports?

A.

Yes, the three icons on the right hand side of the report represent the Save, View and Print buttons. Roll your mouse over them to see what they do. When you print, we layout the report in a suitable print format for you.

What is company monitoring?

A.

When company files a new document with companies house or is subject to a change in credit risk score we will send you an email to alert you. When you next login to 'My Reports' there will be a flashing icon next to the report in question and you will be given the choice of ordering the new report. Be aware that this will remove the old report from your store.

How often will you send updates on companies I have reports on?

A.

We send updates only when there is activity identified on the company in question.

Q.

Can I modify which companies I wish to have monitored?

A.

Yes, simply login and click on 'My Monitor' and select which companies you do/do not require reports on.

 
Q.

Is it possible to monitor a company without ordering a report?

A.

Yes. Simply click "Monitor this company" on the company details page of the subject. You will then be prompted to enter your email address. We will alert you by email when the company files documents or has a chnage in status. You can edit these settings.

What is PrePay?

A.

Our PrePay system allows you to receive a discount of 10% on all reports by simply paying a minimum of £100 up front. Once you have prepaid, the system will automatically keep track of your balance for you and notify you if your funds are running low.

Can I have a larger discount if I prepay more than £100?

A.

For large volume users who wish to PrePay we do offer a monthly (percentage of sales) rebate. Please click here go to our Prepat top up page to credit your account.

 
Q.

Our company does not authorise credit card use, can we open a credit account?

A.

We no longer offer credit accounts. You can use our pre-pay service here. Other payment options can be found here.

 
Q.

What are your payment terms for credit accounts?

A.

All credit accounts are paid by direct debit on the 14th of the following month. You must complete the online Direct Debit Mandate before we can issue you your account password.

If we order large numbers of reports can we have a discount?

A.

For large volume users who wish to PrePay we do offer a 10% discount on purchases using prepay credit. Click here to open an account.

 
Q.

What is my report limit?

A.

The report limit limits the number of reports you can order in a month if you are an account holder. This is determined by your average usage and exists to protect you in the event your password becomes know to third parties using your computer.

Can I change my limit?

A.

Yes, simply call our office on 01372 750800 to request a different limit.

 
Q.

Can I sell your reports on my website?

A.

Our white-label affiliate solution allows you to have all the functionality of our credit-reporting system rebranded to fit within the design of your own website. Click here for more details.

Can you deliver data to our website to resell?

A.

Currently only using our affiliate system. However this is being considered for the future. If you wish to discuss this please call Alastair on 01372 750800.

 
Q.

Can I remove my company from your database?

A.

Our website carries details of all UK companies.

These details are publicly available from The Registrar of Companies and in certain cases also The Registry Trust. This data is not subject to the Data Protection Act.

While we understand some companies have reservations about being listed, we carry no information that is not publicly available elsewhere in the public domain and therefore we cannot remove or change data on our website unless it is inaccurate.

How can i change my company details on your website?

A.

The company details on our website are extracted from The Registrar of Companies. If any of your company details are incorrect, please alert The Registrar of Companies. Our database is updated overnight and your company details will be altered accordingly.
